Hello I’m Eevee….
I’m a pretty Frenchie…
Who has stylish hair that is fluffy…
In my short two years of life, I’ve been on quite a journey…
Including major surgeries and ending up in a pound..
But thanks to Pug Rescue my life has been turned around…
And I am now ready for my furever family and home to be found…

Can you believe that a girl like me ended up at a major pound as an unclaimed stray…
The pound desexed me and adopted me out but I then started showing major GI upsets include vomiting and pooing which resulted in doing X-rays…
The X-rays and following ultrasound found…
That prior to entering the pound…
I had undergone substantial gastric surgery (stapled side-to-side anastamosis) in past short life…
Hence me coming into Pug Rescue care so I wouldn’t end up in more strife…

Pug Rescue has taken me to see Internal Medicine Specialist Dr Abi at Melbourne Animal Referral Services several times…
Dr Abi performed tests to check that my intestines are working correctly and thanks to correct food and care they now are just fine..
With the testing it was discovered I had non symptomatic Giardia, which I picked up in my past life, so with several rounds of treatment and testing Pug Rescue have also completely cleared me of that the specialist say..

Even thought I was fairly non symptomatic when it comes to BOAS symptoms and wasn’t making horrible sounds I did have stenotic nares and panted easily…
BOAS is progressive Pug Rescue told me….
So as they care so much and know how much us flat faced dogs suffer I underwent BOAS surgery performed bye Dr Ricky at MARS and it was found that my soft palate was very long and was blocking my airway completely..
So I am very glad I’ve now had my breathing improved with surgery..

I’ve had lots of fun whilst in Pug Rescue care and love playing wrestle and chasey with my frenchie and pug friends…
I love toys and adore carrying them around showing off and I am very gentle so I never explode them…
Rolling on my back being silly…
Is something I do frequently…..
Oh and yes I love going for walkies….
I trot along nicely talking in the sights, smells and sounds…
With the breeze blowing through my fluffy hair waving it all around…
I know how to sit and wait…
Oh I can climb and jump puppy pens which foster mum says is cheeky but I think it’s great…
I love to snuggle up on doggy beds but I am also happy to go into a crate….

So if anyone is looking for a pretty cheeky sweet frenchie like me…
Please send Pug Rescue an adoption enquiry…
